Congratulations to our very own alum, Lucia Hierro ‘10, whose work is now on view in “Guggenheim Pop: 1960 to Now” at the Guggenheim Museum in New York through January 10th, 2027.
A graduate of our School of Art & Design, Hierro creates bold, large-scale works inspired by everyday objects, exploring identity, community, labor, and the cultural experiences of the Dominican diaspora.
We’re proud to see Lucia’s work featured alongside some of the most influential names in modern and contemporary art. Congratulations on this incredible achievement!

It’s Emmy season! Congratulations to all of the nominees for prime time Emmy awards!
Purchase alumni are currently part of some of the most nominated series including: Abbott Elementary (Chris Perfetti ‘11); The Gilded Age (Jade Radford ‘16); The Pitt (Kristin Villanueva ‘07); Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (Dan Romer '04); Tucci in Italy (Stanley Tucci ‘82); and Saturday Night Live (Melissa Shakun '08)!
A special congratulations to our alumni behind the camera including Kyle McKEnzie ‘13 who has won an Emmy News and Documentary Award for Outstanding Live Breaking News Coverage and to Dan DeGloria ‘01 for his win for Outstanding Graphic Design for the NBA on NBC campaign.
