During the overnight hours,reports of numerous individuals checking doors of vehicles in the King st school area.

Our officer's quickly located a suspicious vehicle in the area,which fled at a very high rate of speed. An attempt to catch up to the vehicle was not practical due to excessive speed of the suspicious vehicle as it was entered the Merritt Parkway.

It was later learned that 2 vehicles were stolen as well in the Village.

It was reported that both vehicles were locked,however there were multiple reports of other vehicles rummaged through in the area.

Again, this appears to be a random crime of opportunity,so let's try to take away the opportunity.

We thank the residents who called and reported the suspicious activities as it was happening.

Together we can work to try and stop this activity.

Today it was a sad day at work.
I found out today that a 31 year old client of mine hanged himself 🥲
