Happy Armed Forces Day! So proud of our US Army Ranger. Did you know there are only 3623 Rangers in the United States Army? There are approximately 480,000 soldiers in total in the US Army. The 75th Ranger Regiment is premier light infantry unit and special operations force within the United States Army Special Operations Command. Did you also know that Rangers in the 75th Ranger Regiment are only stationed 3 places in the USA. Hunter AAF, Ft. Benning (Columbus) and Joint Base Lewis Mchord (WA state). Did you know the Rangers of the 2nd Battalion (Lewis/mchord) were the troops who scaled the cliffs of Point Du Hoc in the beaches of Normandy? Did you also know that after 9/11 the Rangers of HAAF were the first to be deployed in the Global War on Terror? When you see these young men or any other young man or women who serve our country - thank them for their service.
