Sophia’s neck has healed beautifully. 🩵

If you don’t know Sophia’s story, she came into our rescue with Jackson. While Jackson’s skin infection was visible, Sophia’s thick coat hid just how severe hers was until she was shaved.

She spent countless days at the vet having her wounds cleaned, and through it all, she was the sweetest little girl. We are so grateful to Durbin Creek Animal Hospital for the incredible care they gave Sophia every step of the way.

Willie update 💙

This little guy is in full puppy mode and learning the ropes! Now that his cone is off, he’s been busy exploring the world around him. He’s learning how to walk on a leash, working on house training, and discovering all the fun things that come with being a puppy.

This is such an important socialization stage for Willie. Every person, dog, sound, place, and experience needs to be a positive one as he learns that the world is a safe and happy place.

He’s not quite ready for adoption yet. His remaining eye isn’t looking the way we’d like, so he has an appointment with the eye specialist next week to make sure we’re doing everything we can to save it.
