Sample-McDougald House

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing, in June, of our dear friend, Margaret White.
Our sympathy goes out to her daughter, Claudia DuBois, and to her son, Jerry DuBois and his family.
A founding member of the Sample-McDougald House Preservation Society, Margaret's devoted efforts led to the home being placed here, in what would become Centennial Park. In recognition of that, the new pavilion was named the Margaret White Pavilion at the city's request.
Margaret was known for her kindness, determination, and lasting impact on our community. She will be deeply missed.
