Assurance Client Support
Yesterday I audited $89,000 worth of legal bills and found a minimum of $26,000 of overbilling and dishonest billing practices. Why will my client succeed in disputing the overbilling? Because law firms won't fight their clients. It's bad business and malpractice insurers discourage doing so. My client will save at least $15,000 and paid me $500 for my audit. Good value, right? Don't let your lawyers take you to the cleaners. Drive your own case with me showing you the way.
I am managing a case for a defendant being wrongfully sued. I came in after the first firm had already billed them over $70,000 in the first five months solely to draft and argue a terrible, woefully unsuccessful motion to dismiss that should not have been filed. I got one bill reduced by $3,500 and advised my client not to pay another bill for $27,000 because it was outrageously overbilled and the work done hurt, rather than helped the client. We fired that firm and I selected the replacement firm. I got favorable terms from the new firm and in the 13 months since they took over they have billed about the same amount as the first firm, but I believe the case is about to be over with a dismissal. Per my advice, we served offers of judgment and a motion for sanctions and because the case is frivolous, we should recover all of the fees incurred. The first firm projected fees of over $300,000 after their first $70,000 of billing. The case will be done for far less than $100,000, and if you remove the $30,000 I saved up front, it will be done for less than $70,000 more after the first firm was replaced. I think I have given my client their money's worth. And, throughout, I have relieved all of the executives of having to manage the case and make strategy decisions in the dark, or worse yet, not participate in strategy decisions only to receive $20,000 bills every month. The client has been billed an average of $5,000 per month with me managing the case. If you know any company or person paying litigation fees without in-house litigation management, tell them about me. They will thank you.

A NEW SOLUTION TO THE NIGHTMARE OF DIVORCE LITIGATION
Divorce litigation is often a nightmare, largely because divorce lawyers, without professional supervision, will often multiply the cost and anxiety of the process, and will often, for various reasons, cause disastrous results for one party or the other.
The fact is that EVERYONE who pays hourly legal fees for courtroom work needs another lawyer to help manage the case, and audit and control their legal fees. Until now, only large corporations had this luxury via in-house counsel. Now, my firm, Assurance Client Support, makes this needed protection available and accessible to ALL litigants paying lawyers hourly fees.

HOW TO REDUCE LAWYER EXPENSE AND INCREASE LAWYER QUALITY
In today's tight markets, and tighter profit margins, the need to control legal fees and get effective, efficient legal work is greater than ever. When it comes to lawyers, you need to get "The biggest bang for their buck."
With lawyers this is a hard, because they are good at making themselves look great as they're bleeding their clients dry and ruining their cases. This is easy for lawyers because they train long and hard to do it, and clients usually accept their lawyers' words as the Gospel. Everyone needs to believe in their lawyers because they think they have no other choice.
There is only one way to manage litigating counsel and control their fees: employ in-house counsel. As the saying goes: "It takes one to know one;" and with lawyers, it's particularly true. Only lawyers have the knowledge, training and experience needed to identify other lawyers' misfeasance and malfeasance.
Until now, only the powerful few could afford the protection of in-house counsel. For most companies, and all individuals, this has not been an option.
I litigated for 23 years and I hated lawyer abuse. I founded Assurance Client Support to give ALL litigants access to the guidance and negotiating skills of active and former litigators who would qualify to work as anybody's general counsel.
The difference is that clients do not actually pay ACS!
Instead, ACS receives only a portion of the fee reductions we negotiate for our clients. With ACS, reducing your legal budget is GUARANTEED, and an expert litigator will make sure your attorneys are doing their jobs well.

This is truly a rare opportunity to make a difference for your company and its bottom-line, or for yourself if you're in court litigating any matter, including divorce, probate, or guardianship cases.
