Neoalsomitra podagrica is a vining member of the family Cucurbitaceae from Southeast Asia. This species gets an odd spiny caudex at the base of the vines. These cuttings will form the large, spiny caudex that this species is known for. All my parent plants were grown from cuttings just like this. Rare and bizarre !
