Greetings!

Please join us for our last meeting of the year which will be on Thursday, May 2nd in building 6-227 during 12:00 - 12:50 PM (U-Hour). We will be presenting a workshop on using Vagrant + Virtualbox to quickly create custom Linux VMs for cross-platform collaboration. Vagrant is an open-source virtualization framework that allows development teams to build for a Unix/Linux based production environment while still using their main Operating System/editor/workflows of choice. You don’t need any prior knowledge of any of the tools that will be used but if you would like to follow along we do ask that you please download and install Virtualbox + Virtualbox extensions, Git Bash (for Windows users) and Vagrant before the meeting. Please contact me via email or on Discord if you have any problems with these installs. As always we will have free food and this week we will have Round Table Pizza!

Git for Windows

CSS will not be meeting this Thursday. Instead we encourage all students to go to the Spring Career Fair. We will be meeting next Thursday in our usual spot and we ask that anyone interested in running for a position on the CSS e-board please contact us ASAP! CSS has a long 30+ year tradition here at Cal Poly and we need the next crop of student leaders to step forward and take the reins for the club to continue into next year and beyond.
