Pollock Volunteer Fire Dept

PVFD were paged out at aprox 3am due to a grass fire 3.5 miles NW of Po***ck on 1804. Several storms moved through the area with cloud to ground lightning earlier in the night was more than likely the cause of the fire. PVFD will monitor the fire over the next couple days.🔥🔥🔥🔥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👨‍🚒👨‍🚒🧑🏽‍🚒 #🙏🙏4rain

At approximately 3:42 this afternoon PVFD responded to A brush/Shoreline fire considering the extreme conditions and the rugged terrain involved these guys knocked it out of the park in just a little over two hours! Campers fisherman, etc. etc. are all reminded be mindful of your open campfires even though there is no burn ban on just use common sense!
