I'm the problem it's me.” 💁‍♀️ But when it comes to grammar, it can be a bit more complicated than that. It all depends on whether you're talking about possession or a contraction of "it is." So let's break down this tricky difference between "it's" and "its" once and for all!

"It’s"is a contraction of “it is” or “it has” so it should always be followed by a verb. On the other hand, "its" is a possessive pronoun so it should never be followed by a verb. Now that you know the difference between its and its, you can start using them correctly in your writing!
