My grandson turned 2 today. He loves construction trucks. Chocolate cake filled with strawberry compote.

My dear friend turned 80 and she still looks fabulous! For that, a golden drip cake is just perfect for this special occasion. Mango flavored chiffon cake topped with treats: chocolate covered strawberries, Lindt chocolates and different flavored French macarons, each painted with edible luster dusts to give it the glam look.

I had fun making this baby shower cake for my niece. The theme is Woodland animals - all figures and decorations are edible. The wood stumps are sponge cakes filled with strawberry compote and Chantilly cream.
