On the Navy’s 250th birthday, I thought I’d share a photo from our son’s Navy graduation a couple of weeks ago. 🇺🇸⚓️
Some people spend their lives hoping to meet their heroes, I’ve had the honor of raising mine.
They chose service, sacrifice, and honor over comfort and as a parent, there’s no greater pride.

A true testament to dedication, hard work, and grit. My nieces, and , have worked tirelessly and made countless sacrifices to achieve their dream of becoming registered nurses. They were both accepted into the same nursing school and graduated together — a remarkable accomplishment in itself. I’m incredibly proud of them. There’s no doubt they’ll be exceptional healthcare providers who make a lasting impact in their patients’ lives. Karly and Kasey, you’ve earned every bit of success coming your way, and I can’t wait to see all the incredible things you’ll achieve in the future. I love you both.

Hailey has always had a heart for caring—whether it was helping people or loving animals, she’s been drawn to the medical field since she was little.

She’s enlisted in the Navy and currently attending Hospital Corpsman A-School (Enlisted Medical Specialist School), and this week she called to share some amazing news…

She made the Dean’s List!

Even better—she told us how much she’s loving the experience and everything she’s learning. Hearing the excitement in her voice meant everything.

We are beyond proud of her—not just for her academic success, but for following her dream of becoming a medical professional, and for choosing to serve something greater than herself.
