STAR Physical Therapy

When Shane first started physical therapy with Katie at our Clarksville clinic in April, he was unable to walk or bear weight following an ankle fracture and surgery. Based on his symptoms, his treatment also focused on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), which was officially diagnosed just a few weeks ago.
Today was a major milestone as Shane walked into the clinic without an assistive device for the first time! π
To continue progressing his nerve desensitization therapy, we incorporated a fun painting activity using paintbrushes, cloths, and finger paint on the affected area. His mom, Lee, came with him today, and our PT student, Olivia, joined in the fun! ποΈπ¨
Weβre so proud of the hard work Shane has put into his recovery and the progress he continues to make. We canβt wait to see him reach his next milestone. Keep up the great work, Shane! ππ
