We are proud to close out our May Client Spotlight with Hallie Jade and her song Wild in Me—a truly beautiful and heartfelt tribute to her late grandfather.

This song captures the depth of grief while also celebrating the love and legacy he left behind. Through touching lyrics like “I’m glad you can see me for all that I am… whenever I find a field open and blue, I’ll close my eyes and sit there with you,” Hallie expresses both loss and gratitude in a way that feels deeply personal and universally relatable.

The western-inspired production, with mandolin and harmonica, brings the song to life—evoking images of open fields, wild horses, and the places we go to feel close to the ones we’ve lost.

Wild in Me is a reminder that even in loss, there is something lasting—something carried forward. As Hallie sings, “thank you for leaving some wild in me.”

Hallie Jade is an incredible artist, writer, mother, and friend. We are so grateful to have highlighted her music this month, and we will continue to be lifelong supporters of her work.

Been thinking a lot about this one lately.

When Hallie Jade came through the studio, there wasn’t a big moment where everything “clicked.” It was quieter than that. Songs unfolding slowly. Conversations in between takes. Little decisions that ended up meaning everything.

She talks in this interview about writing every day—not because it’s disciplined, but because she doesn’t like letting ideas slip past her. That kind of instinct is hard to teach, but you can hear it all over this record.

There’s a line she walks really well—between where she came from and where she is now. You feel it in the stories about home, about loss, about building something steady without losing that wild part of yourself.

It makes sense she was shaped by writers like John Prine and Brandi Carlile. Same kind of honesty. Same kind of weight without overcomplicating it.

If you missed this the first time around, it’s worth sitting with.

Read the interview and spend some time with her new EP.
