Nick Castle (Nicholas John Casaccio).

Born: March 21st 1910. Brooklyn, New York, USA – Died: August 28th 1968. Los Angeles, California, USA Aged 58.

Fayard Nicholas spoke about Mr. Castle and their artistic journey from Down Argentine Way, 1940 and over the next few years in other productions.

“The only time we worked with someone who gave us something was with Nick Castle.”

Mr. Nicholas continues with when Mr. Castle spoke with him.

“I’m so happy to meet you guys. Now there’s somebody here who can do my ideas.”

“We’d think up ideas. The three of us would get together and he’d show us something, and I’d say ‘How about putting this step to that?’ And he’d say, ‘Yeah, that’s it, that’s great.”
