🏎️ As a long-time sponsor of the National Cheng Kung University Formula Racing team, we helped them through the final testing phase for their new car in preparation for August’s Formula SAE Japan competition. This international event, sponsored by the International Society of Automotive Engineers, brings together students to compete in manufacturing formula-style cars that they have designed and build themselves.

To support their battery pack validation, we opened one of our high-power labs and provided access to advanced Source/Sink systems and thermal imaging tools. This collaboration enabled precise performance and thermal stability testing under race level conditions.

We’ll be cheering on the team this August!

We’re proud to announce that our CEO & President, Gary Yu, has been named an Outstanding Alumnus by Fu Jen Catholic University—one of Taiwan’s top private universities and the first in the nation to earn AACSB accreditation for its business school. The award, presented at a ceremony with university leaders and students, recognizes alumni who have used their education to benefit society.

Gary addressed students, sharing insights on building meaningful careers in a fast-changing industry. He emphasized Diodes’ people-centered approach, highlighting that progress is driven by integrity, commitment, and innovation. Diodes is committed to fostering interest in engineering-related disciplines, and we proudly support robotics teams as a means to inspire and motivate students.

As long-time supporters of the Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School CyberpunK Robotics, we are thrilled to celebrate their recent triumph. Their hard work and passion have earned them the prestigious Impact Award at the FIRST San Diego regional competition. In addition to their competitive success, this team has made significant strides in promoting K-12 STEM education through community outreach and programming with elementary-aged students, reaching 1,230 students since their inception.

This year, we have expanded our robotics commitment by supporting Team Flare, a new group comprised of students from Independence High School in Frisco, Texas. Despite being only two years old, Team Flare has shown remarkable dedication and progress. Coached by students who have previously participated in similar competitions, Team Flare recently competed in the VEX state competition. We applaud their tenacity, strategy, and discipline in establishing and growing a new robotics team, and we look forward to their continued improvement.

Diodes continues to celebrate innovation, teamwork, and the steps forward in STEAM education. Join us in cheering on these students!
