Fake Google Reviews? 2 Simple Steps

Did you receive a fake review on your Google Business Profile? I’m sorry that happened.

Here are two simple steps.

1 First Report it to Google, they should handle it, log into your Google Business Profile (GBP). It should take them a week or so.
2 If that does not happen, you can use a Google Reviews Management Tool.

What I suggest for my clients if they come across this scenario is to select “appeal eligible reviews”

First example is:

In order to rank for search engines, you need to pay attention to these two elements. Here are quick tips for them, one at a time:
Title Tag
1. Ideal length is 50 - 60 characters
2. Always, always start with a main search term (keyword, not your company)
3. Add GEO hints (location: EX: Dallas, Chicago, or New York) if you have a local business

Meta Description
1. Ideal length is 150 - 200 characters. YES!
2. Instead of keywords, use 1-2 sentences
3. Use effective CTA (Call to Action)
