Hello all,
As a dad of a son with autism and a special education teacher, I find that there are not enough extracurricular activities for our children to belong to outside of the academic setting. Therefore, I have dedicated my life to being the voice for the voiceless and doing everything I can to ensure that individuals within the special needs community have an opportunity to experience various things. I also like to make sure that we are as inclusive as we can be while still maintaining the ability to make events family and sensory-friendly. Over the past 10 years, I have held an annual Autism Awareness/ Special Needs Community Awareness Day Event at Plano East Senior High School. This year I would like to cordially invite you to join me as we celebrate our 10th year of bringing Sensory Friendly All Inclusive Family Fun and Special needs resources to the community. Thus, would you please come out on April 20, 2024, from 12-3:00 PM and enjoy a day of Free Fun. We ask that you share this with your friends, family, and community so we can make this the biggest event the special needs community has seen!! We will have a special appearance by the Mayor of Plano, TX as well as our annual basketball game between my Panther Pride Special Needs basketball team and the Plano Police Department not to mention plenty of Concession style foods, music, and fun with various inflatable obstacle courses and games.
