On May 17th, 2025, when I made my first public announcement, I was clear about why I entered this race.

I’m running in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District to fight for marginalized communities. Period.

Not for clout. Not for career politics.
But for justice. For equity. For people who’ve been overlooked and underserved.

Last night on my Small Business Tour, I stopped by a (Black-owned) soul food spot in South Bound Brook, NJ 🔥🍗🍠

Since I got there so late: The owners, Kevin and Yashua, weren’t there at the time, but much respect to those brothers 🙏🏾✊🏾

If you’re ever in North Plainfield or South Bound Brook, you have to stop by one of their locations because the food is truly out of this world 🤯🔥

Supporting Black-owned businesses is supporting our communities 💯

During my Small Business Tour, I’ll be visiting two incredible Black-owned restaurants right here in NJ-12: Amazing Taste in South Bound Brook and The Big Easy in Ewing, NJ. 🔥👏🏾

Both of these spots serve amazing food and are absolute must-tries if you’re in the area. Supporting local businesses means supporting jobs, families, and our community’s economy; and I’ll always put NJ-12 first.

Today I had an amazing conversation with my student, ❤️ She is an incredibly intelligent young woman who knows exactly what she expects from elected officials.

Too often, politicians overlook the young electorate and fail to engage with them; but I will never make that mistake. As an adjunct professor, connecting with young people and hearing their perspectives is part of my daily life. Their voices matter, and they deserve leaders who will listen.

Politics is a shady business. 👀
People try to intimidate their opponents behind closed doors… but I am NOT the one.

For the past year, I’ve been working harder than any of my opponents! Driving all across NJ-12, delivering food to local food banks, doing my small business tour, talking directly with constituents, and showing up EVERYWHERE our communities need leadership.

I’m the only candidate who had the courage to challenge the entire Democratic establishment.

So no; I will never drop out. I’m not here to play politics.

I’m here to fight for the people, fight for marginalized communities, and fight for equal rights. ✊🏾🏳️‍🌈

I entered this race to win it… and that’s exactly what I intend to do.
