H e l l o K9’s
My name is Mrs. Olson and I will be one of your three Physical Education teachers this year. I am so excited for the opportunity to help open Plainfield’s newest elementary school, Wallin Oaks! I’m looking forward to creating memorable experiences for our students!
A few things to know about me:
I have been a teacher in the Plainfield school district for 12 years! I have spent all my time as a Wildcat at Walker’s Grove. I will miss my old students this year and wish them all the best!!
I am a certified K-12 Physical Education teacher with my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and an endorsement in Health Education.
I have my masters degree in Educational Leadership.
I grew up in Bolingbrook and now live in Plainfield with my husband, Mr. Olson and our daughter, Piper (she just turned 2). We are also expecting Baby Olson #2 this September!!
I can’t wait to build our Wallin Oaks P.R.I.D.E. with you this year!! See you soon K9’s!!

Kids Heart Challenge thank you prizes from 2020 have officially been sent home. If you have a student who is remote (and they are receiving a thank you prize) your child’s teacher will know when and how you can pick up their prizes. If you have a student in 6th grade or a student who has moved, who should have received a prize from last years event- please message me and we can schedule a pick up time. We appreciate your patience and your support of our PE program!!
