I was looking back at some of my older work and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. The first time I ever decorated cookies was for a Halloween party I hosted. It was so much fun even though they didn’t look the best I realized I was pretty good at it.
When Covid happened I was furloughed for 8 weeks and I was bored out of my mind. That’s when I thought about creating TriBakes. I knew I needed to practice so I started making cookies and shipping them to friends and family. Sooner or later I started getting orders from non family members and that’s when I knew I had a good idea. So I kept it up. I have moved 5 times and to three different states since I started TriBakes, and with each move it’s like starting all over again. However, we bought a home in Plainfield IL and I don’t plan on leaving any time soon. Support your local small business and if you are in one of the places I have been don’t worry I can always ship you some cookies 😘
