This is a story of when reality meets a dream:

February 16th 2020, Grand Opening

August 8th 2022, Reopening

January 1st 2024, Temporarily Closed

Chameleon Boba was a dream of mine since 2014, it took me nearly 6 years to start. The day we first opened I was over the moon..with the help of my family I was able to make my dream a reality. But the reality as you can see above has been quite the journey to say the least. I was and still am determined to see how I can make Chameleon Boba grow. A part of me feels like I failed and it sucks, but the other part of me knows this isn’t a final goodbye. To be transparent, the cost of remaining open exceeds the daily revenue, this has influenced our decision to temporarily close. The take away from the story, even when reality hits, the dream doesn’t fade.

Enough of the sad stuff..onto my plans for the future. I have decided to return to my original job (driving for EDUHSD) full time. This will allow me to make enough money to get married in May and finish the food/drink trailer I’ve been working on. It will take some time to reopen again, but I am determined to make it happen! Reopening as a food/drink trailer will allow Chameleon Boba to expand beyond Cameron Park.

We still have use of the Cameron Park location and I would be willing to take on bigger orders for parties or other business gatherings. Who knows maybe I’ll do a pop up! If you are interested please message me.

What I’ll miss most is the interaction with my regulars. I can’t thank you enough for supporting my dream 💜
