Engine 312 is filling into East Rochester Fire Department while they host their music festival. Great time if you are looking for something to do tonight! We are glad to help out our neighbors!

It was a busy day for the BBFD. Due to the storms and extreme weather, we responded to multiple calls throughout the day.
We also assisted the Victor Fire Department covering calls as they had an influx of incidents.
We are happy to assist our neighbors!

Today, Engine 312 was honored to provide a fill-in for the City of Rochester Fire Department, allowing our brothers and sisters to attend today’s services as they mourn the loss of their brother, Lieutenant John “JJ” Joseph.

It is a privilege to stand beside our fellow firefighters during times of need, just as they have stood with so many others throughout the years. The fire service is one family, and today we were proud to do our small part to support the Rochester Fire Department.

On behalf of the members of the Bushnell’s Basin Fire Department, we extend our deepest condolences to the Rochester Fire Department, Lieutenant Joseph’s family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing JJ.

This morning, the BBFD responded to the Hilton Garden Hotel for an automatic fire alarm. 3c-11 and 314 responded quickly. 3c-11 arrived and when investigating, found heavy smoke coming from the elevator room and upgraded the assignment. 314 arrived as the base pumper and connected to the FDC and brought hotel packs in for fire suppression. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke in the basement. Upon further investigation, crews found a faulty elevator motor. Thank you to our mutual aid assistance
