Now that the Fourth of July is over, before putting away your decorations, take a few minutes to go through your holiday bin.
Whether you have one small tote or a room full of décor, donate anything you didn't use this year. One thing I've noticed with both my clients and in my own home is that when we forget what we already own, we often end up buying the same decorations again the following year.
A quick purge now can save you money, reduce clutter, and make decorating next year so much easier.
I'll be sharing this reminder after each holiday because small habits like this make a big difference.

One of the most common sources of clutter I see is paperwork.
Mail, magazines, coupons, bills, and school papers can pile up quickly when they’re set aside “for later.”
Instead of letting paperwork accumulate, spend 5–10 minutes each day sorting through it. Recycle what you don’t need, file what you do, and take care of small tasks as they come in.
A few minutes a day can save you hours of sorting and stress down the road.

Another closet transformation I recently completed.
This was a full purge and reset — we removed 5–6 large bags of clothing, shoes, and accessories to create a clean foundation before organizing.
Everything was then thoughtfully arranged by category, from everyday pieces and loungewear to dressier items, denim, and outerwear, creating a space that feels both functional and effortless to maintain.
My client was truly surprised by how much more room she had once everything was properly organized. When you can clearly see what you have, it not only creates space but helps prevent unnecessary overbuying.
