Progress is in motion in a Ross Twp. Kitchen. After a roof leak damaged the ceiling in their kitchen, we demolished the ceiling. Then installed drywall only to find the roof was still leaking. We inspected and found the plumbing vent gasket had a gap around it letting water inside. Well, after removing a half sheet of drywall we then addressed the roof, reinstalled the drywall, installed a door and screen door. Waiting on the window to come in, we have been finishing the drywall, painting, and getting ready to install new 6” baseboards and trim. Also, we hung two brand new beautiful lights.

So Frog Pad Fixers spent Saturday trying to wrap up some projects. This house is in Green Tree. After exhausting all options to reinstall the same door but make it swing the opposite direction because of code & handrails, we opted to go pre-hung.

The only problem with pre-hung was the fact you needed 82” x 30” rough opening for the standard size 80” x 30”. Not being able to obtain that common size due to plaster, because once you break into it it’s hard to control, we went ahead and modified the standard door size to accommodate the smaller dimensions. Then installed a new gate mounted to a concrete retaining wall, painted cabinets, added new hardware, and its coming together. We take pride in solving problems at a fair price.
