Light of Life Rescue Mission

☀️Summer is off to a great start at Light of Life!

This month, we:
💛 Completed renovations on Sister's House, creating a welcoming home for women in our long-term program
💛Took women and children from our program to a Pittsburgh Pirates game
💛Joined more than 120 rescue missions from across the country at the Citygate Conference to learn, collaborate, and strengthen our impact
💛Gathered with supporters at the Tunch & Wolf Memorial Golf Outing
💛Welcomed Pittsburgh Theological Seminary for a day of service and learning about our ministry

Thank you to everyone who gave, volunteered, prayed, and partnered with us throughout June. Your support is helping bring hope and lasting change to individuals and families across our community!

After two years of planning, construction and prayer, the renovation of Sisters House is officially complete! 🙌

Sisters House is home to 11 apartments for single women in our long-term programs. This project was about so much more than new walls, floors, or furniture. It was about creating a space filled with trauma-informed design that reflects the healing, restoration, and transformation happening in the lives of the women who live here every day.

We want every woman who walks through these doors to feel safe, loved, valued, and at home. It's a place where she can rebuild her life with dignity while surrounded by a supportive community.
