The 1979 Datsun 280ZXR was a limited-edition homologation model, with 1,008 units produced to qualify a distinct, large rubber “whale-tail” rear spoiler for IMSA and SCCA racing. Based on the standard 280ZX, the ZXR featured unique blue-on-silver stripes and was designed for performance, often lacking luxury power options to save weight. This car is a true survivor with only 75k miles and almost completely original parts.
