This Mt. Lebanon couple wanted to enlarge their master bathroom, as well as remodel the outdated traditional style into an urban modern look. This was a complete transformation. We took out the adjacent walls to their bedroom, and rebuilt them to add on 5’x8’ of bathroom space. After a full demo, we installed a Wedi shower system (100% water proof and mold proof), with shelves, a quartz bench seat, obscure glass window, Kohler Brushed Gold fixtures and a custom fixed glass panel. Imported Marazzi tile was used for the shower and bathroom walls. We then opened up the far wall to expose the underlying brick, adding an industrial feel to the modern décor. Prior to laying the hex mosaic tile, we installed a heated flooring unit (Schluter system). Brushed gold faucet fixtures and black quartz countertop on a contemporary double-bowl vanity complete the look.
