America 250 US Flag Sojourn at United Steelworkers this afternoon. This flag has been on a journey across the USA. It has visited all 50 states. Its next stop is at Fort Necessity on the way back to Washington DC.

The City of Pittsburgh has announced a significant investment in the future of our fire service, with $20 million dedicated to the replacement of fire apparatus through grant funding made possible by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and UPMC.

The members of Pittsburgh Fire Fighters IAFF Local No. 1 are grateful for this commitment to the safety of our firefighters and the communities we proudly serve every day.

Reliable, modern fire apparatus are essential to protecting lives, responding to emergencies, and ensuring our firefighters have the equipment they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.
