Love how this one came out, pictures don’t do it justice but have had 6 neighbors already ask for my business card. Customer gave free range for plant selection… they just wanted southwest theme… I think it came out pretty close. Complete rip out, brought in boulders, 15tons of fresh topsoil, landscape fabric, 40+plants consisting of boxwoods, strawberry hydrangeas, lavender, Norwegian weeping spruce, lariope, drift rose, phlox, and more. Truly one of my favorite jobs We’ve had the pleasure of doing. The customer recently moved in and tasked me with having the trees taken care of, running a French drain down the side of the yard to reduce the amount of water flow towards the house. Following, we essentially had a blank Canvas to work with. We decided to go with a unique concept here using river rock, pea gravel, and lots of boulders throwing in lots of color as well. To finish, we installed boulders along the driveway allowing for separation between mulch and driveway. We also finished off the job finding this customers hillside again and putting down new mulch. Think it’s too late to mulch? Wrong! If I were to mulch my yard (landscapers house comes last) it would be now. Why? Well, with dry periods comes longer lasting color in your mulch. Not to mention, with the little rain we do get, it becomes necessary to make sure you have mulch down to absorb the moisture to keep plants thriving. But that’s not all we do!! Some shots of one of the jobs completed yesterday. Trimmed all the shrubs, weeded, created a Little Rock bed, installed 2 dogwoods, hydrangeas, and drift roses as well as edging the beds and adding a fresh layer of brown mulch.
