Thank you, Dr. Tripp, for the opportunity to speak on Unity and Justice alongside John Moon, the original Chief of the groundbreaking Freedom House Ambulance Service. He was one of the visionaries who helped launch the nation’s first ambulance service—right in Pittsburgh’s Hill District!

This service started with a cohort of Black men deemed “unemployable.” They not only proved their doubters wrong but also saved countless lives.

The event was incredibly inspiring—a powerful reminder of how much we still need unity and justice in our world today.
