On Tuesday, the FIRST community lost one of its own. We are heartbroken by the death of Kendrick Castillo, a victim of the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting in Littleton, Colorado. Kendrick was a member of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4418, STEM IMPULSE, of which his father is Lead Mentor. Our hearts go out to Kendrick’s family and friends, and to all affected by the shooting. FIRST stands with Team 4418 and the entire Littleton community during this incredibly difficult time.
Congratulations to our Mentor Jack Buchanan who was awarded the Paul Rojik Award last week at the Sarah Heinz House Volunteer Dinner last week. Thanks for all you do, Jack!
