Free Sundays at the Museums are back THIS SUNDAY, February 1st!

Explore the rich history of the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts, Moravian Museum of Bethlehem, and the Grist Miller’s House for FREE – every first Sunday of the month from February through November. April will be the second Sunday due to the Easter holiday. Enjoy complimentary admission to the museums and a hands-on activity the whole family is sure to enjoy!

**What do we do all day with toddlers? A whole lot of growing! 🌱**
Our days are thoughtfully planned around how toddlers learn best—through play, movement, and relationships. We spend time exploring with our senses (painting, water play, music), building early language skills through songs, stories, and conversation, and strengthening little bodies with climbing, dancing, and outdoor play.
Toddlers also practice important life skills every day: learning routines, trying things independently, sharing, taking turns, and naming their big feelings with the support of caring teachers. Meals, naps, and diapering aren’t “in between” moments—they’re meaningful opportunities for connection, comfort, and learning.
Every activity supports social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development—so while it may look like play, it’s really the important work of becoming confident, curious little humans. 💛
**¿Qué hacemos todo el día con los niños pequeños? ¡Muchísimo crecimiento! 🌱**
Nuestros días están cuidadosamente planificados en torno a la mejor manera en que aprenden los niños pequeños: a través del juego, el movimiento y las relaciones. Dedicamos tiempo a explorar con los sentidos (pintura, juegos con agua, música), a desarrollar las primeras habilidades lingüísticas mediante canciones, cuentos y conversaciones, y a fortalecer sus pequeños cuerpos con actividades como trepar, bailar y jugar al aire libre.
Los niños pequeños también practican importantes habilidades para la vida a diario: aprenden rutinas, intentan hacer cosas de forma independiente, comparten, esperan su turno y expresan sus emociones con el apoyo de maestros cariñosos. Las comidas, las siestas y el cambio de pañales no son momentos de transición, sino oportunidades valiosas para la conexión, el consuelo y el aprendizaje.
Cada actividad fomenta el desarrollo social, emocional, físico y cognitivo; por lo tanto, aunque parezca un simple juego, en realidad es el importante trabajo de convertirse en pequeños seres humanos seguros de sí mismos y curiosos. 💛
