HackPGH recently received a $2,500 directed donation towards a new XTool F2 Ultra Dual MOPA & Diode laser cutter & engraver. It will be a boon to the space in terms of what it can cut and engrave; from metals and glass to leather and ceramics - even food! This laser will also provide our organization with a much-needed new revenue stream. As of April 1st, we have raised 78% of our $7,500 goal! Please help us reach 100% before April 15th!

Don't worry, we won't be getting rid of our CO2 laser! If we reach or surpass our goal, the X2 Ultra will live right next to Trogdor!

Join us at HackPGH every month (this month on Jan 30th at 7:00PM) for an evening of fun, fraternization, and of course games of all kinds! Bring your favorite board, card, or computer game to share! From Catan to Poker, Munchkin to Halo - we'll see where the night takes us. We welcome attendees starting at 7:00pm, but we don't stop until the games do! BYOB and feel free to bring snacks, but we often chip in and order takeout.

HackPGH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and these events help us keep the lights on! Donations are appreciated and the suggested minimum game night donation is $5, but we never turn away anyone due to their inability to pay! Adults only (18+), please.
Our official address is 1936 Fifth Avenue but our entrance is on Jumonville Street. Ring the doorbell and someone will let you in.

Intro to Woodworking with Zach

Begin your woodworking journey with this hands-on class at HackPGH! Designed for beginners, this session covers everything you need to get started: identifying lumber, measuring, cutting, woodshop safety, basic joints, finishing, and more. You'll work alongside classmates to prepare and cut stock lumber while gaining confidence with tools and techniques.
