This guest house new build took over a year to complete . We hoped to remodel the existing cottage but the demolition revealed too much rot to preserve the original structure . The client wanted a cottage that opened to the outdoors and provided a warm and inviting space for family and friends. The interior was to be a cohesive flow to the main historic farmhouse. Thanks to the skill of some very talented carpenters Wallace Construction our designs came to life beautifully. The addition of a first floor master bedroom and bath , functional kitchen and second floor loft turned into the perfect guest house! The client’s favorite color blue. Photography Rachel Thatcher

Kitchen remodeling is about reconfiguring a space to make it more functional . Sometimes that involves closing up archways and removing walls to create a new flow with added counter space . This is a sneak peek of a current project . Maximizing the storage and adding more counter space was the goal. The client wanted a clean look with white cabinets and warm wood tones . Thanks to a team of skilled carpenters and cabinet makers our conceptual design was executed beautifully. Brett Bloxdorf Bloxdorf Contracting and Pure Dimensions did a great job. When wallpaper panels become works of art! .We designed this great room for a Pittsburgh client who wanted a comfortable space with a little drama .

We’ve been working on transforming this home from it’s traditional dated furnishings to a more modern fashion forward design .
This fireplace install , flanked by grid like fret work is really changing the whole space . Looking forward to paint , furniture, rug and window treatments.
