Happy Father's Day! Whether Dad is here with you or in the hereafter, it's a day to celebrate, reflect on the good times, and be grateful for the goods things in your life!

I know my father was a multi faceted individual, sometimes hard to understand his viewpoint, but when you cracked the hard shell he was protecting himself with, he was a sensitive, kind man. he lived life to the fullest and he taught me to do the same! He loved his Hungarian heritage, the music and equally he loved America and all that that implies! Freedom was the catalyst the drove him through his journey, and after my first trip to Hungary, I learned that lesson, and adopted that concept.

I can't believe, I'll be 68 this year, so much has happened in my life, and it went by so quickly!

So my message today is, no matter what negative things happened in the past, let them go! Life is short, and while you are still here, celebrate you! Always be grateful for the gifts God gave you, and especially be grateful for your parents, as in today, celebrate Father's Day! Wishing you all the best! Well, Summer is just about over, and as we slowly sink into our upcoming wave of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, please don't forget to add Huszar to your list of don't forget!

Football games, hockey games and downtown events can be easily coordinated with time eating delicious food at Huszar !

Today we had two gentlemen in the restaurant for soup and sandwiches, and the one gentlemen says hands down this is the best sandwich in Pittsburgh! That was our famous Kolbasz sandwich, so if you have a favorite menu item from Huszar let us know so others can know what to try on their next visit to Huszar !
