Another inspiring program joins our Acute Care Residency Spotlight series! 🌟 Henry Ford Hospital Acute Care Residency

Located in Detroit, MI, the program includes 8 different rotations including: med/surg, orthopedics, cardiovascular, neurology/neurosurgery, medical ICU, surgical ICU, neuro ICU, and cardiopulmonary ICU. The heart of the program is its faculty, including 12 therapists with over 220 years of experience!

Every rotation pairs residents with 1-2 experts to develop clinical skills and critical thinking. The faculty includes 3 program graduates who provide valuable insight to continually improve the program from the resident perspective. Beyond clinical expertise, the program offers opportunities in clinical and academic teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, research, and didactic education.

The program admits residents each February and August and looks forward to meeting future applicants.
