I adore second shooting as opposed to being the main photographer because it really gives me room to slow down and capture small details of the day. (Like in the first photo, where the bride takes a small moment to herself pre-ceremony)

As a bride/groom it’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle and nerves of the wedding day, and to forget the really small moments. As a main photographer, you’re so caught up in the movements of coordinating all the posed shots and capturing all the big moments that it can be difficult to break away and get those little unplanned moments. You can’t be everywhere at once!! So I choose to be the one that finishes up her assigned duties and has time to mill around and capture the small things 🥰
