As the people who price and list equestrian resale every day, here’s what we know about what sells and what doesn’t.

Condition matters more than almost anything else. Sell before it’s too worn. A six-month-old boot sells for significantly more than a two-year-old boot in the same condition.

Timing matters. In-season gear moves faster. A show coat listed in April sells quicker than the same coat listed in November.

Brand matters but you already knew that. What you might not know is exactly how much each brand commands at each condition level. We do.

Photos matter. Five clean, well-lit shots covering front, back, tag, wear, and overall condition. That’s all it takes.
