When roaming the streets of Delhi near the shelter I was serving in, I saw this precious little girl sitting outside her home. She saw my camera and asked for a "click-click", which I assumed meant a photo. Even though I wasn't sure how great her english was, I said "strike a pose!" and this is the shot I got!

I showed it to her afterwards, and the smile on her toothless grin was even better than this photo.

Not sure when I'll be back in Delhi, but here's to hoping it's sooner rather than later 🧡

Some humbling words that hit deep in my gut.

I think about the times that friends, family, and relationships have failed me. How the concept of continuing to love them seems impossible in those moments. The feelings like "they don't deserve my love because of what they've done" - like I'm some ruler who sits on a throne and passes out "love" like it's only mine to give.

Except that I'm not some ruler - I'm more-so some failure. I have my own spouts of failing others, and most importantly, of failing God.
Believe me, I've failed God before I was a Christian, and I've failed God as a Christian.

Yet, He still loves me.
He still believes that I deserve that love, even though I know I really don't.
And He still chooses to love me every day and even after every failure.

As a newly-wed, I've learned about this concept of love and how its not all butterflies and unicorns. It may feel like it at first, but really it's a choice. It's a decision to choose to love someone during the good, the bad, and the ugly.

It's a choice to stay and to not give up, no matter what.

This is exactly the love that God gives. It's a choice that He's choosing daily to love us despite our failing and undoing.

His love never fails.
It never gives up.
It chooses to stay.

And for that, I am deeply humbled, grateful, joyful, and a thousand times thankful.

So yes, I cant brag about my love for God because I fail Him daily.
But I can brag about God's love for me because it never fails. 🧡

This. Piece.

A stunning replica of Leonardo di Vinci's "The Last Supper".

Fun fact, I actually passed this one up originally but then could not stop thinking about it! It was one of those I-should-have-bought-that moments. Miraculously, it was still there when I went back!

It is truly a beautiful piece, made in Italy, and has the option to hang or display.

Because of the nature of this item, there are minor blemishes and signs of aging, but I think it only adds to the character of the piece!

If it were mine, *silently takes listing off Etsy* I'd style it as a display on a bookshelf, or among other pieces of art in a gallery wall.

I cant wait to see how it's lucky owner styles it in their home 🤍

See it in the collection coming 03.28.23 at 6PM (EST) on Etsy.
