Mayor Corey O'Connor visits Persad & is named Honorary Member of the OWLS!

This week, the Persad OWLS had a great surprise when Mayor Corey O'Connor stopped by to chat with the group. Mayor O'Connor has always been a steadfast supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and was excited to meet everyone while sharing updates on the many important initiatives he’s working on for the city.

From affordable housing and downtown revitalization to environmental and climate accountability and creating a more accessible and transparent local government, the OWLS appreciated the opportunity to hear firsthand and ask questions about the Mayor’s vision for a stronger, more inclusive Pittsburgh for all.
