Let’s make sure we don’t have a shortage of poll workers for early voting and Election Day. Poll workers tend to be older, which means they’re more vulnerable to COVID-19. And since this pandemic isn’t under control yet, a lot of them are understandably sitting this one out. Fewer poll workers could mean fewer polling places and longer lines. So here’s what we need: more people—especially young, healthy people—to do their part for this country and volunteer to make sure this election runs fairly and safely.
