Pittsburg High School FCCLA

A busy day as members volunteered to help with district STAR Events as well as serve as voting delegates for district elections.

We also had two awesome entries for STAR Event competitions.

🥇Lexis Barr received a GOLD score for her Career Investigations project.
🥈Molli O'Ferrell received a SILVER score for her Focus on Children project.

They both rocked it representing PHS!

The first full day of Kansas FCCLA State Leadership Conference is in the books! Hope and Lexis worked hard as STAR Event volunteers, Kaylee competed in the Career Investigation STAR Event and we attended opening ceremonies for the conference. Kaylee was recognized as the District J-East Chaper Member of the Year!

Yesterday, 6 students from Mrs. Long's Teach and Train pathway classes attended the South Central Regional Educators Rising Conference in Wichita. They heard from experiences, passionate educators through breakout sessions, got to network with students who share their passion for education, as well as meet with college representatives from education programs from across the state of Kansas!
