This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

Weather hazards expected... Today and Tonight...

Limited Tornado risk.
Elevated Hail risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Significant Lightning risk.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible over
southeast Kansas into southwest Missouri late this afternoon into this evening. Wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail to the size of quarters will be possible over southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, but would be from the late afternoon into the early evening. More widespread thunderstorms, but weaker, will be possible later this evening and tonight across the area.
