Pittsboro Fire would like to congratulate Braden Phillips on his promotion to A-Shift Driver Operator. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to serving our community, Braden has demonstrated the professionalism and leadership that this position requires.

***TRAFFIC ALERT***

From 12:00PM to approximately 8:00PM, Hillsboro St will be closed to all traffic for The Pittsboro Summerfest. The event is from 2:00PM to 6:00 PM.

The following detour routes will be established for the duration of the event.

SOUTHBOUND ON HILLSBORO ST: Turn RIGHT onto Hank St, LEFT onto Fayetteville St and then LEFT onto West St. Take the first exit in the traffic circle on to Sanford RD to continue south

NORTHBOUND ON SANFORD RD: Take the first exit from the traffic circle onto East St. Turn LEFT on N Masonic St, LEFT onto Thompson St and the RIGHT onto Hillsboro St.
Large commercial vehicles should use NC 87 --> US 64 Bypass as a detour.
