Designed to support seniors with limited income, the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program provides $50 vouchers to eligible seniors residing in counties with a program administrator. These vouchers, available from July 1 to September 30, enable seniors to purchase fresh produce, raw honey, and freshly cut herbs from certified farmers. This initiative serves as an extra income source for local farmers and connects vulnerable community members with locally grown food.

If you meet the eligibility criteria and live in a county with a local agency, reach out to them for details regarding the application process and availability. Additionally, if you are a farmer interested in participating, contact your local agency to learn more about certification.

๐ŸŒž First day of summer โ€” and for farmers, itโ€™s more than just the start of a season. Itโ€™s a time of deep care: tending crops, conserving water, protecting soil, and honoring the rhythms of the land. Every harvest is a reminder that stewardship isnโ€™t just a value โ€” itโ€™s a way of life.

Farmers feed their communities and protect the future. Today, we celebrate that commitment. ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฝ
