๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค Welcome to the Bearcat Family, Sarah Jameson! ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก

We are thrilled to officially introduce Sarah Jameson, joining us as our School Psychologist in the SPED Department!

Here's the thing though, Sarah isn't exactly new around here. She has been serving Pilot Point students and families for the past 8 years through the Co-Op, and when the Co-Op disbanded, she said she couldn't imagine going anywhere else. That tells you everything you need to know. ๐Ÿฅน

When we asked why she chose this work, she said:
"I've always been drawn to work that is meaningful and people-centered. Supporting students through challenges and seeing their growth over time makes the work rewarding."

And what she's looking forward to most?
"Continuing to serve the families and students of PPISD and working with the amazing principals and staff I've come to know. I'm also excited to be part of the growth and continued development of the new special education department and to support the positive direction the district is moving in."

When she's not supporting students, Sarah loves to travel, read, spend time with family and friends, and play Zelda and Pokรฉmon. ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ“š Fun fact, she taught herself to do the splits during quarantine and can still do them!

Welcome HOME, Sarah. We are so glad you're officially ours. ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค Welcome to the Bearcat Family, Bryttni Combs! ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก

We are SO excited to introduce Bryttni Combs, joining us as a Kindergarten Teacher at the ECC! ๐ŸŽโœ๏ธ

Bryttni comes to us all the way from Wichita, Kansas, a proud University of Arkansas Razorback (Woo Pig! ๐Ÿ—) but she's already one of us. She lives right here in the PPISD community, and that's exactly why she chose Pilot Point:

"I want to be a part of the Bearcat community. I truly value the opportunity to work where I live, build strong community connections, and support my students both inside and outside of the classroom."

Don't be surprised if you spot her and her husband, and possibly their dogs cheering on Bearcats at extracurricular events. She wouldn't have it any other way.

On why she chose education:
"Watching children learn new things, overcome challenges, and realize their potential is what makes this work so meaningful to me."

Kindergarten is such a foundational age, and Bryttni is bringing creativity, positivity, and a whole lot of heart to it every single day.

Outside the classroom, Bryttni owns a small cottage bakery ๐Ÿง, loves farmers markets, hiking, kayaking, and has recently taken up gardening. She's an avid sports fan โ€” Eagles ๐Ÿฆ…, Stars โญ, and Razorbacks โ€” and is known for hosting legendary driveway get-togethers complete with a firepit, lawn games, and lots of laughter. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

And her fun fact? She has been a Jonas Brothers fan for over 20 years ๐ŸŽค โ€” she and her mom have seen them in five different states and even traveled to New York to watch Nick Jonas on Broadway. (And yes, she was very pumped about Kevin's solo album this spring. We respect it entirely.)

She left us with this, and it gave us all the feels:

"I truly cannot wait to officially become part of the Bearcat Family! It truly means a lot to be joining a district where I can teach, live, and invest in the same community โ€” and I'm so ready to get started!"

Bryttni, we are so ready for you. Welcome home! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค

๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค Welcome to the Bearcat Family, Adina Rich! ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก

We are thrilled to welcome Adina Rich, joining us as an Educational Diagnostician๐ŸŽ‰

Adina comes to us from Fort Worth and is a proud Texas Woman's University alum. She's a native Texan through and through, and when she found Pilot Point, she found exactly what she was looking for:

"Small yet mighty. Great culture."

Honestly? She nailed it. ๐Ÿพ

Adina has always been driven by a desire to influence young learners, and she is especially excited about one very special opportunity here at PPISD: "Being part of the inaugural special education cohort!" What an amazing thing to be a part of, and we couldn't be more grateful to have her in that room helping build something from the ground up.

When she's not working, Adina loves to travel, spend time with family, and play mahjong ๐Ÿ€„ and as a lake community resident, you'll also find her fishing and tubing whenever she gets the chance. โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽฃ

She put it simply and we felt every word:
"I'm so excited to be here and to be a part of something special."

We feel the same way, Adina. Welcome to the Bearcat family! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค

๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค Welcome to the Bearcat Family, Jessie Forrest! ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿงก

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce Jessie Forrest, joining us as a Kindergarten Teacher at the ECC! ๐ŸŽโœจ

Jessie comes to us from Frisco and brings an impressive academic background โ€” Hardin-Simmons University for her undergrad and UTD for grad school. But what really drives her shows up the moment she talks about her kids: "I love seeing them as they enter my class as new Kindergartners and then watching them change, learn, and grow so much before they leave my class as big 1st graders on their way to greatness!"
If that doesn't make you want to be in her class, we don't know what will.

On why she chose Pilot Point:

"I want to teach somewhere that still has a small-town, family feel and where I can have a chance to teach and grow!"

She also wants everyone to know she is already psyched to watch Bearcat football and softball. ๐Ÿˆ๐ŸฅŽ

Outside of work, Jessie is auntie to four adorable nephews โ€” Oliver, Graham, and twins Rowan and Porter ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ถ โ€” and devoted dog mom to her goldendoodle Diggs. ๐Ÿพ When she's not wrangling kids and dogs, you'll find her relaxing poolside. She has earned it.

Her fun fact: While at Hardin-Simmons, Jessie was a cowgirl on the Six White Horses rodeo drill team โ€” traveling all over Texas riding in parades and performing opening ceremonies at rodeos across the state. ๐ŸŽ Oh, and she once won a greased pig chase. ๐Ÿท We have absolutely no follow-up questions. She is perfect and we are so glad she's here.

"I already love being a part of the Pilot Point community! I have felt so welcomed and valued from the very beginning and I couldn't be more thankful!"

Welcome home, Jessie. The Bearcat family is SO glad you're ours! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿพ
