Thank you to Aberdeen Central, the City of Aberdeen, Brandon Valley High School, and Augustana University for their help with the event, thanks to the students for participating, thanks to the coaches and schools for serving students, and thanks to the parents and fans for supporting the students.

That’s the last state event for 2025-26, next up is boys golf and girls tennis in early October. Have a great, safe summer.

In consultation with the NWS, taking into account field conditions and keeping to the posted schedule for running and field events for kids in both, all SDHSAA state track and field meet events will be delayed by one hour today. Field events start at 10, running events at 11.

The 2026 SDHSAA state one-act play festival took place from Brandon Valley high school on February 5-7. Here are the superior recipients in overall play, ensemble, and individual categories for the event.
