Had a busy 3 days with the Mike Helling crew from Sioux Falls fishing for 2 days 1 day up on the lake with Leo catching his biggest walleye to date. Then west bend for short day with catching a lot of fish. Then some guys for Kansas today on the lake… Shawn had the pleasure of taking a couple from Sioux Falls for their first outing on the lake very happy people with their catch.

Had a quick day with my brother Steve and his 2 boys Cole and Luke. Fishing is pretty good right now. Got some open days Aug 16,17,18,19 if you want to get some walleyes in the freezer before winter.

The boys from Sydney Nebraska made quick work of the walleyes before the heat hit today. Lot of fun with this group who has been coming to Lake Oahe for 6 yrs now. Already booked for next year. Thanks to Dave Spaid for his help and the Outpost Lodge for the lodging and meals.

Had a good day with Mike Rousch and his grandkids today. Cold and rain didn’t dampen their spirits. Still have June 12 open if anybody wants to bite is just going to get better.
