Coal Train is bull with a commanding presence – he is one that you can’t help but find when you enter the pen. He is deep-sided,
soggy-middled and hits his track every time. He has plenty of extension and lays in nicely though his shoulder. His dam, 8240F, has been what might arguably be our top bull-producing female. She has had 5 bulls with an average WW of 789 lbs., and
average YW just shy of 1400 lbs. This is a female that just flat produces. She will be entering the donor line up this spring, and she hasn't missed with a mating yet. Consistency is key within this cow family, and it shows within the progeny. Coal Train is one we will use heavily this AI season and feel that these genetics can make a lasting impact within the cattle industry.
Coal Train has an impressive set of stats himself, with WW and YW
ratios of 109. We feel this bull is perfect blend of
maternal, growth, and consistency with a bit of added calving ease in his genomic make up. He is one that is worth the trip to see in person. Visitors are always welcome and the cattle are available for viewing at any time!
